Count Down
If you are using server application in "Pre-paid" or "Pay and Play" mode the Timer will run as a Count Down timer.
User will be able to see how much time left.

In this mode, when time remaining will be equal or less than 2 minutes Timer will start to "flash". i.e. it will start changing color of the time displayed from grey to red.
This is a "silent" warring to the customers, to notify him that the session will ends in two minutes.

There is no other message displayed or any sound played. This is done to avoid conflicts between programs. If customer, for example, is playing a game which will prevent Screen Shield to show a message.

Count Up
If you are using server application in "User pays after", "Pay as you go", "Play and Pay" mode the Timer will run as a Count Up timer.
User will be able to see how much time he has spent.
