Screen Shield
This utility will help you clear computer screen from running application. This can useful when you when customers don't exit from applications after they finished using computer. For example, unwanted websites, personal documents and etc.
If you are using games in your Internet/Cyber cafe you may have problems activating Screen Shield on top of the running game. Some customer didn't quit the game he was playing, you have activated the Shield from Cafe Manager and in worse scenario computer got "frozen" or even crashed.
XTools Window Killer can help to overcome this problem
Once you configure the Windows Killer - Screen Shield, before locking the system will terminate pre-defined applications (if they are left running).
To access to this program right-click on Screen Shield icon in the System Tray and select XTools>Window Killer menu. Program will ask you to enter Admin password before showing a main screen. (see picture bellow)
When program first starts it displays all processes currently active on you computer. Please take real care when selecting application for termination. Some of the process are related to the Operating System and should not be terminated.

To properly configure Windows Killer please follow simple steps:
Example
To add game or another application's process to the termination list, please follow next steps:
- Make sure that only applications that required for proper function of the computer are running
- Select Windows Killer from XTools menu;
- Make sure that Keep processes in list after exit check box is selected
- Start application that should be terminated after each customer's session;
- New process, related to this application will be added to the list.
Select this process and click Register. If you will notice that icon changes
to red X.
If cannot see the Process Registration window behind other windows or because of the game, just exit from top level applications, until you see Process Registration window. All new process will be added to the list and will have a "lock" icon. Please select the process and click Register. - Repeat step 5 as many times as necessarily.
- click OK to Close program and Save changes
If you configured Screen Shield to work off network Master INI file, then WinShield.dat will be saved to the same network location. So all other clients configured to operated from Master INI file will pick up new changes.
